Born and raised in New Jersey, Erica graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University, earning her B.A. in Criminal Justice. During her time at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Erica was a member of the University Honors Program, through which she wrote and presented a thesis on Battered Woman’s Syndrome.
After college, Erica relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, where she attended Florida Coastal School of Law, and earned Deans List Commendation. Erica continued her studies in family law and domestic violence, authoring “Battered Woman’s Syndrome: A Man’s Castle, a Woman’s Dungeon,” and earning her Family Law Certificate with her Juris Doctorate.
Erica joined The Ticktin Law Group in 2011, where she has gained significant litigation experience in the areas of family law, mortgage foreclosure defense, and general litigation. Erica has successfully litigated many contempt hearings, domestic violence hearings, and divorce, paternity, and relocation trials. In November 2013, Erica became the managing attorney of the firm’s Family Law Division.
